The most visited amusement parks in Europe
For a weekend with your family in a top amusement park you need a minimum budget of 1150 euro.
Whether or not you have passed the age of childhood, you can enjoy a few exciting days along with the whole family, choosing one of the great amusement parks in Europe. Disneyland, the small ones’ favourite has also something to offer to the adults, for whom are yet indicated Europe Park in Germany and Port Aventura in Spain.
In order not to lose time, you can accommodate directly to hotels inside the parks, at prices that go from 60 euro per day.
The notion of “amusement park” dates back XIV-XV centuries when the inhabitants of major cities had to provide so-called "Garden of Pleasure" where one could walk, eat and where different shows could be watched. The first amusement park in the world, Bakken, was inaugurated in 1583, from Klampenborg, Denmark, the famous park and now a place of entertainment for tourists from around the world. The United States developed the concept of amusement park hundreds of years later, respectively in 1895, being the first park Sea Lion Park (Park Sea Lion), opened in Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York.
Disneyland Paris opened in 1992, only 32 km far from the capital of France, on an area of 566,560 square meters, was created by the concept of land magic Disneyland in California. Shortly after inauguration, amusement park in France has dominated the top favorite destination among European tourists, and gained fame thanks to unlimited amusements for children and adults, both.
Among the attractions preferred by the tourists there are: Panormagic, walking with the largest balloon with hot air in the world, NEX Arcade - an area of 1,500 square meters dedicated exclusively games (bowling, billiards, racing, etc.). And also the five thematic land - Main Street, USA Fantasyland, Frontierland, Adventureland and Discoveryland - in which the characters of fairy tales come to life and tourists are joining a world of fiction.
Port Aventura, located 120 kilometers from Barcelona, is the most famous amusement park in Spain, being built after the famous brand model of Disneyland.
Lying on an area of over 34,000 square meters, the park offers tourists the chance to elucidate mysteries of Imperial China, to make acquaintance with the Wild West, explore the jungle of Polynesia, to travel in the exotic Mexico and, last but not least, to make acquaintance with calm Mediterranean, for each area being presented attractions, vegetation and architecture specifications. In the torrid days, tourists can go to Costa Caribe mini-park water to cool.
Europe Park, located in Rust town, is the largest amusement park in Germany. The park’s theme consists of Europe’s unity and is divided into various areas containing topical tourist attractions in miniature, most of which being named after some European countries or regions.
The attractions include the Berlin Wall in miniature, space station Mir, wind mills in the Netherlands and many other tourist attractions in miniature. Besides, among the preferences of visitors are land Adventure Land, where there are available, for an unforgettable entertainment, classic recreational facilities such as, roller-coaster, carousel, karts, etc.
Chocoland, a place where tourists can watch the technologic process of making the chocolate, is another favorite destination. Romania is proud to have two aquatic parks, one in Mamaia, and Aqua Magic, and the other in Otopeni, and Aqua Land, unfortunately opened only in summer time.
The magic of Disneyland

Disneyland has got locations in Florida, California, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Paris.
Costs for an “invaluable” fun
The cost of a ticket for accessing Europe Park starts from 28 euro for children with ages from 4 and 11 years, and reaches up to 31.5 euro for adults.
There are also promotional prices for children aged 12 or more, if they are celebrating their birthday.
They have free access on that day, provided they show an identity card. Tourists over the age of 60 pay also a lower ticket, the price being of 28 euro. In order to extend the fun, visitors can be housed in one of the hotels available within the park, the price for a day starting from 60 euro with breakfast included, costs vary depending on the season and available offers at the hotel. The cost of a ticket for access to Disneyland Park is 29 euro for children aged between 3 and 11 years and for adults is 34 euro.
The ticket is valid for the whole day, even if the tourists leave the park and return the same day.
