Nokia launches mobile TV shows for N96
Nokia is set to launch a series of mobile TV shows to support the launch of its new N96 mobile phone.
The six Capsule N96 series, covering motoring, fashion, technology, lifestyle and comedy will be available for download from Nokiai's website from 1 October until the end of November.
The 96 second, weekly shows are designed to promote the TV functionality of the N96.
Simon Ainslie, MD for Nokia, said the short-form content made available reflects the needs of consumers, "Watching great content is no longer inherently linked to your living room."
As with its Comes with Music mobile service, Nokia hopes the mobile television channel will bypass the mobile networks and respond to the Apple iPhone.
