Romanians do not give up going to Egypt
The Romanian press has quickly spread the news about the kidnapped Romanian woman in Egypt, publishing daily information taken over from the international news agencies. Oana Irina Kalis and the other 18 adventurers have left in a questionable jeep-safary, in an area in which there aren’t organized this type of trips. When it was heard a few days ago that the kidnappers took them in Sudan, asking to the German authorities for six million euro, the Italian minister of foreign affairs launched the information: those 19 persons are hostages of an extremely dangerous organization from Darfur. According to the latest news published yesterday by the foreign news agencies, the hostages were released and their condition of health is good. How did the Romanian tourists that were preparing to go to Sharm el Sheick or Hurghada react? As it was normal. They didn’t give up to their holiday because they have understood that those 19 persons wanted adventure more than anything else, that the Romanian agencies don’t recommend this type of trips and that they organize jeep-safary just in safe places. Moreover, I think it should be mentioned that in Egypt it is circulated for many years in escorts with soldiers and that in any hotel it can be entered only after an extremely rigorous filter (similar to the one of the airport). These being said, tourists may go to Egypt, but they must consult the agencies when they want to explore the lands near the Nil River. Through Prompt Service Travel a 7 days trip in Sharm el Sheick, with all-inclusive, in a four stars hotel, the price starts from 591 euro/pers, and through Prestige Tours from 445 euro/pers. The opportunities offered by the Red Sea are unlimited. You have to buy without fail complete snorkeling equipment, you can find it in any store, even in supermarkets with fruits and magnets for fridge. For being able to get to know better water’s empire, you can take courses of scuba-diving. Any hotel has its own instructor. If you prefer to see the treasures hidden in the sea, you can go boating with one of the boats that has the floor transparent. There are over 200 types of corals, over one thousand of sorts of fishes, turtles and for the amateurs of big sensations, sharks. The easy going ones must know that there are ample beaches, touched by the waves of the Red Sea, with comfortable lounge chairs, positioned under umbrellas that have the form of a “sombrero”. When you want to change the landscape, you can take the boat till the Tiran Isle, where you can swim near the wrecks.
