Mallorca Football Club will be owned by a British
A Spanish court has authorized the sale of the majority stake in Mallorca Spanish club to the British businessman Paul Davidson, according to AFP. Davidson, who is head of pipe-fitting business, will pay 38 million euro to buy 91,24% of the club from Vincente Grande, a Spanish businessman whose real estate agency has problems. Since Grande was declared insolvent, the agreement had to be approved by a court. Mallorca teams are at the moment on the 11 position in the championship of Spain. Last season, Mallorca ended on the 7 position, having as player, Dani Guiza, the top scorer of Spain’s championship. During the competitive break, Guiza was transferred to Fenerbahce, in Turkey, for 17 million euro.
