Romanian Referendum Prelim Results: 77.78% For Single-Chamber Parliament

At the Romanian referendum organized Sunday, 50.91% of the citizens eligible to vote came to express their opinion.  77.78% of the voters supported a single-chamber Parliament, and 88.4% supported downsizing the Parliament to a maximum 300 MPs, according to preliminary results released Tuesday after the counting of ballots in 99.92% polling stations.
