Romanian Online Store eMAG Eyes EUR100M Sales In 2010
Romanian online store eMAG estimates a turnover of EUR100 million this year, up 56% from 2009. The company is counting on its financial stability and premium computerized system to boost its sales. "Our target-turnover stands attainable, especially since January and February started off on the right foot," the company's marketing manager Radu Apostolescu said in a press release.
The company intends to open at least three showrooms this year "in key locations to cover wider areas" and announced that the company's four showrooms in capital Bucharest, northeastern city of Iasi, northwestern city of Cluj-Napoca and southern Ploiesti reported sales of EUR25,000/sqm in 2009.
The company's is majority owned by IT products distributor Asesoft Distribution.
