Romanian Leu Continues To Strenghten Against Euro

Romanian national currency continued to firm against the euro on Tuesday, as the central bank’s reference stood at 4.2393 RON/EUR, 0,5% lower than Monday. This is the fourth consecutive session that sees the leu gaining ground against the euro. Last Wednesday National Bank’s reference reached an all-time high of 4,3688 lei per euro.

 

Against the US dollar, the leu's indicative strengthened nearly 1% at 3.3687 units, from 3.4001 units Monday.
